Cast-in-place reinforced walls from 3 feet up to engineered heights exceeding 10 feet, with footing width sized at 50–70 percent of wall height.
A 4-inch perforated pipe in 3/4-inch gravel, filter fabric, weep holes at 8-foot intervals, and waterproofing on the retained face — hydrostatic pressure fails more walls than undersized concrete.
Walls over 4 feet require a permit and stamped engineering in Malibu; we coordinate calculations with a licensed civil or structural engineer for walls carrying a surcharge.
